Την εβδομάδα που πέρασε είχα τη χαρά να συνομιλήσω με την εκλεκτή δημοσιογράφο & συγγραφέα  Melissa Hekkers  με αφορμή μια προσωπική συνένετυξη εφ'όλης της ύλης. Μιλώντας για τέχνη, πολιτισμό, αξίες και οπτική επικοινωνία λίγες ημέρες πριν από τη 2η Συνάντηση Σχεδιαστών Οπτικής Επικοινωνίας,  Graphic Stories Cyprus . Τα information graphics ή infographics είναι ουσιαστικά γραφικές οπτικές αναπαραστάσεις πληροφοριών, στατιστικών, δεδομένων ή και γνώσης που έχουν ως στόχο την καθαρή, γρήγορη και εύκολα αντιληπτή οπτικοποίησή τους. Drawings and pictures painted or even carved in conjunction with words, phrases and poems, most often illegally on walls or other surfaces, often in public places. Graffiti, from simple written words to sometimes sophisticated murals, existed since ancient times, with examples dating from ancient Egypt, ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. [EN] Myths, according to Sigmund Freud, are dreams that steam from the unconscious, while for James Frazer and Bronislaw Malinowski they constitute the prescientific effort of early human cultures to interpret their natural environment. Either with a psychoanalytic mood or from the perspective of social anthropology, their existence in any culture -and particularly in ancient Greek, where reason and myth always had a subtle organic bond with the reflection process- highlights the value and usefulness, at least, of their study. Particularly representative is the ancient alter ego of the biblical Eve, the infamous Pandora. Eve, may only had an apple to bequeath her sin to everyone on Earth, but Pandora recruited an entire ... box, or, more correctly a jar, according to the initial version of the myth.
